NEGRESS
05.08.20

NEGRESS is a platform that uplifts black femme, women and gender nonconforming artists. Swim in the sounds and spirit of local and international open format djs, producers, and recording artists. The spectrum of genres featured includes r&b, house, club, techno, ballroom, vogue, baile funk, afrobeat, gcom, jungle, and UK garage. We value a DIY approach to music and lift up emerging talent without the clout. NEGRESS (IG: @negressworld) puts on a monthly event called HOOD RAVE, a local South Central underground party centering black femme talent and a black, indigenous and QTIPOC audience.
BAE BAE is a Los Angeles based DJ/producer and multidisciplinary artist who centers music that empowers black femme and them musicians.
Tati au Miel’s art extends beyond the usual domains of experimentation, utilizing a deconstructed approach that challenges, transforms, and plays with what is expected. They are not bound to one specific genre; working with techno, punk, and industrial, they express their fluidity – to Tati au Miel, the worlds of artistic exploration are infinite, and transcendental. There is a raw vitality to their work: their performances (both musical and artistic) are a chest-reverberating, insightful experience; their fashion a gender-euphoric, dreamy construction on the landscape of body. They recently debuted their first EP “The Exorcism of Tania Daniel”, an industrial adventure that is both disjointing and freeing, out on all platforms.
Yadirtydaughter is an up and coming DJ from the small town of Altoona, Pennsylvania now based in LA. Her music style is reflective of her internal world: an eclectic variety of sounds ranging from dreamy lo fi to Chicago footwork to pulsating trance. Yadirtydaughter mixing style transcends her audience from the real world into an ethereal hedonistic dimension.
