The second edition of Ani Kcam’s roaming mix series touched down in Los Angeles on dublab, again drawing listeners through a continent hopping, history referencing journey through underground dance music. This audio state banquet touched on the contemporary bass, techno and rave genres landing in London’s darker clubs, opening out into ethereal flourishes and hypnotic groove rituals. A nod to American dance music history is delivered through a classic cut from Danny Tenaglia and more recent productions from acidic techno pioneer Josh Wink and abstract house shaman Hieroglyphic Being.
