Akini has charted on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 Indicator Chart, was voted by GQ as the ‘Voice of the Future, and also became the first ambassador for Tomorrowland China.

Her forthcoming album “VILLAIN” (due out early 2024) is rooted in the storytelling of Chinese martial arts, influenced by the cinematic genre known as Wuxia, with a strong focus on the technical production of the music.
