Sweatson Klank’s latest album You, Me, Temporary seduces our ears with fluid, soulful beats, while exploring various stages of a fast and turbulent love affair. Matt Amato’s new video for “Contemplate”, depicts a couple who know the end is near. Inspired by the image below from Jean-Luc Godard’s film Weekend, Amato transforms Sweatson Klank into a man with too much who, soaring through Downtown Los Angeles in his helicopter, is unable to reach his lover’s level. Sina Henrie plays the other half of this equation, a beautiful woman who can no longer tolerate being ignored. Soaring shots through monolithic skyscrapers, glittering city lights and the pastel sky at sunset stunningly manifest the bright synths, sharp snare and grooving bass of this sophisticated track.
You, Me Temporary was released last April on Project Mooncircle as a beautiful 3-disc LP. Be sure to also check out Sweatson Klank’s multitude of mixes for dublab on his Labrat page.
Matt Amato of The Masses is a longtime friend of dublab and has joined us in various cinematic endeavors including several VisionVersions.
