Martyn Pepperell is a freelance journalist, broadcaster, DJ, and concert promoter from Wellington, New Zealand. His work has been published and presented by Boiler Room TV, Dazed & Confused, Dummy Mag, i-D, Noisey, Norient, Radio New Zealand, Resident Advisor, Red Bull Studios, Sniffers, The Spinoff, and The 405. In 2017, he has written feature stories about Aldous Harding, Alice Coltrane, Kojey Radical, FIS & Rob Thorne, Midori Takada, Look Blue Go Purple, Mr. Mitch, Nadia Reid, and Surly.

In recent years, Martyn has DJed alongside the likes of Aldous Harding, Awesome Tapes From Africa, Daedelus, Egyptian Lover, Kate Tempest, Le1f, Lontalius, Nadia Reid, Nai Palm, Richard Dawson, The Internet, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Vince Staples. Accordingly, his writing, broadcasting work, and DJ sets are wide-ranging. Expect a mix of contemporary underground music from across New Zealand, and maybe a special guest or two.
