As an archivist and librarian for human rights and Latin American Studies, t-kay brings an eye and ear for the historical, unique, and transnational to her musical curation. The Afternoon Love-In features the sounds of everyday life and struggles across linguistic and geographic boundaries, gathered through personal and professional travels, serendipitous findings, and the kindness of friends and strangers.

t-kay joined the dublab family as an intern in 2006 and hosted the first “The Afternoon Love-In” in early 2007. Prior to dublab, t-kay was the General Manager of KSPC 88.7 fm (Claremont, CA) and hosted the program “Hooray for Everything!” from 2001-2005. Currently, t-kay co-hosts “Hip Hop Hooray” on community radio station KOOP 91.7 fm and comprises one-third of the female DJ collective, Totally Consensual, in Austin, Texas.
