I’m a late bloomer in getting hipped to the strange and beautiful world of Psychic TV. I have dublab’s Ale to thank for the musical gift. A few years ago he passed me the Godstar 7″ and totally blew my mind (check out Ale’s posting of the Godstar video here). Ever since, I’ve been devouring each and every bit of tasty madness that Genesis P-Orridge and posse have dished up. I’m 100% into the value of creative derivation and totally appreciate when bands inject great influences into their work. Psychic TV did it big time as you can plainly see in the songs they chose to cover in these videos. Now current bands have heavily borrowed from the aesthetic of Psychic TV and I see nothing wrong with this expanding plenitude of awesomeness. – frosty
