Sierra Leone’s Janka Nabay is touted as the King of Bubu Music and as I’ve encountered none of the other royalty from this music form I would have to wholeheartedly agree he must be king and top of the pops! Janka Nabay supposedly blows minds and gets bodies hopping with his band the Bubu Gang (members of Skeletons, Gang Gang Dance, Starring, and Zs). I haven’t experienced his live show yet but thanks to the technological internet we can all enjoy these Janka Nabay videos directed by Carlos Charlie Perez.
