Hudson Mohawke seemed to rise out of the internet ether and enter our ears like an unexpected flash of lightning. He’s one of those cats who always seems to be on just the right sound-wavelength. His work with Mike Slott as Heralds of Change blasted through many an international speaker via the dubstream and his solo gems always ruffle our feathers. The world will be getting a lot more Hudson Mohawke magic soon as Warp Records is set to release his “Polyfolk Dance” EP in January followed by an album later in 2009. Our ears are ready for action!
