One of Australia’s most talented, forward-thinking electronic acts, Cosmo’s Midnight is off to a flying start in 2017 as they share their new single “History.” As premiered on Stereogum, “History” is a twist of low-slung house and bouncing vocals from the pair, whose production finesse and experimental pop sensibilities lead a generation of new Australian producers.

Hailing from Sydney’s Inner West, the twin beat makers’ eclectic tastes have evolved into their iconic blend of globally acclaimed, left-field pop. Cosmo’s Midnight’s 2015 Moments EP branded them worldwide connoisseurs of intelligent electronica and reached #2 on the iTunes Electronic Music charts. Featuring the vocals of Flume and Fetty Wap collaborator Kučka, the EP’s sparkling lead single “Walk with Me” has clocked over 14 million plays to date and counting.

Their innovative and evolutionary approach to creating dance music sees Cosmo’s Midnight with a discerning slew of collaborations, remixes and tours to their name. Trusted by the likes of Flume,Goldlink, Porter Robinson, Anna Lunoe and Alunageorge for their unique and unpredictable transformations, the twins have lent their remix talents to some of electronic music’s most high profile releases.

Having toured the US, Australia & Indonesia, the duo treated thousands of fans to their dynamic live set on the nationally touring Listen Out festival in 2016. The pair too have graced the festival stages ofSplendour In The Grass, Big Day Out, OutsideIn Festival and Field Day, alongside supporting global tastemakers Porter Robinson, XXYYXX, Cashmere Cat, ZHU and Alison Wonderland.

Consistently leading the electronic music scene with their unpredictable flair and global charm, Cosmo’s Midnight’s “History” is a defining start to a huge year for the Sydney tastemakers.

Also joining them for this two hour takeover Basenji will be swinging by the studio to share selections as well. Don’t sleep!
