CUTS 01 / a melting pot of dark wave electronic, footwork, bounce, hip hop, jazz and textured instrumentals all linked together by a cacophony of samples which have been cut, chopped, and screwed from vinyls excavated from the depths of dollar bins around Los Angeles and beyond.
This edition of Cuts 01, will feature special guest Stuts:
Beat-maker / MPC Player born in 1989.
In April 2016, he released his own 1st album Pushin’ which had guests such as PUNPEE, JJJ, KID FRESINO, Campanella, Alfred Beach Sandal, CHIYORI etc…
In addition to his own work, he also offers track remix to numerous artists such as KMC, GRAPEVINE, The Natsuyasumi Band, iri, RAU DEF, ZORN.
He is actively active as MPC player also in rural areas, mainly in Tokyo. Working on solo live activities using MPC and SP-404, he has been active in a wide range of lives as KMC & STUTS, live music with dancers such as Hilty & Bosch and XXX-LARGE.
In February 2013, he performed an MPC live on the streets of New York – Harlem District, and let the audience dance beyond the race barriers.
