    This episode will feature Milena Fessmann, Reto Caduff & Stephan Plank (Conny Plank’s son) directors of the new documentary on Conny Plank, The Potential of Noise

    They’ll be joining Slayron in conversation to discuss the film prior to the premiere event happening in Los Angeles on September 28.

    Conny Plank was one of the most innovative sound experimentalists, producing recordings that revolutionized music that still is as valid as ever. He became a hub in the new German sounds. Producer, sound engineer and musician covering a wide range of genres including progressive, avant-garde, electronic music and krautrock. Dying at only 47, Plank left behind a wife, actress Christa Fast and a 13-year-old-son, Stephan. Now, 20 years on, Stephan sets out to find his father, the film taking a journey through music history as well as around the world, to give an unusually intimate and emotional view of the artists, their work with Conny Plank and the many musical traces he left behind.

    Cat 500 (AKA Aunt Mitzy) was born Mathilda Constance Thorogood, is a world-class humanitarian and a member of the power elite. Trailblazing the way for female superpowers since 1942 with her long list of successful, multi-million dollar companies founded. These include; Global Box Co. and all of its subsidiaries (i.e., Plexi-Perfect Box Dist. INC., Worldwide United Box Limited, Box Technology International, Echelon Quad, Indo-American manufacturing nano infrastructure civilian establishment, etc.).

    On her monthly dublab program, Cat 500 (AKA Aunt Misty) occupies an intimate corner of the vast universe. Her transmission is a string of interstellar secrets whispered in your ear. This space-chatter materializes when a satellite crosses wires with a synthesizer. Like the tree falling in an empty forest, these sounds are usually silent as dust in a void but thanks to Aunt Mitzy’s diligent energy you can hear the buzz and crackle of the great beyond. Tune-in and she will re-transmit it to you in dubby verbatim.

    Morpho hosts Graph Paper which is a monthly diagram of echoes and sounds, culled from ancient texts and modern contraptions. Through systematic observation, music phenomena will be carefully measured and categorized. Expect a swath of symphonic divisions ranging from Séance Core to Forrest Bop. As the needle swings so our ears will ride the soundscapes of song. The mission is simple; untangling the secret knots of the universe and the human heart.
