    Oh No It’s Monday focuses on up and coming music coming from different areas of the world. The show also brings attention on what bands to watch that happen to live in our own backyard in Los Angeles. Sometimes they have special guest musicians whom are on tour and happen to be in town. Monday’s don’t have to be terrible tune in grab a morning drink and discover new music from around the world and from your own backyard.

  • 12:00pm – 2:00pm DJ Piper Durabo AKA Maraschino – guest session

    Maraschino is the new solo project from Los Angeles-based electronic pop artist Piper Durabo. Like its name suggests, Maraschino is strong and sweet, with a glossy sheen. Taking cues from a diverse array of experimental pop icons including Blondie, Suicide and Saâda Bonaire, Maraschino is mystic disco-pop for introverts. Crystalline melodies emerge from waves of swirling, hypnotic synths and Piper’s seductive vocals, and linger in your ears long after the songs are over. Maraschino’s debut EP will be out later this year.

    Today on Speak My Language – Jasmin Blasco on Red Light Radio! And a conversation with Stéphanie Roland! TUNE IN!

    For this special edition of Speak My Language at Red Light Radio, Jasmin Blasco will improvise a piece woven from fragments of different recent works: O Horizon, Choir Of Babble and Black Rattle.

    About Stéphanie:

    Graduated from the ENSAV – La Cambre in visual communication, Stéphanie Roland (1984, Brussels) also studied Media Arts at UDK – Universität der Künste, in Hito Steyerl’s class. She regularly takes part in art school juries and gives talks about her practice — she even was TEDx Brussels’ speaker in 2018.

    She won an impressive number of prizes and grants, notably the grant of the Vocatio foundation, the Médiatine award (audience) and the Full Contact award at the international photography festival SCAN de Tarragona. She was shortlisted for the HSBC Photography award, the Leica Oskar Barnack Award and Vevey — Le Grand Prix l’Image.

    She is exhibited internationally, from Amsterdam to Buenos Aires, Berlin to Los Angeles. Her works have been included in exhibitions from major institutions including Benaki Museum, Bozar, Kampala International Art Biennale and Botanique. Breda Photo, Belfast Photo festival, Manifesto, Encontros da Imagem, MOPLA and Unseen are amongst photography venues where her work has also been shown.

Cornering and covering all of the communities within the community, future roots on full. All in transcribing details within the history. We love the history!
