    Oh No It’s Monday focuses on up and coming music coming from different areas of the world. The show also brings attention on what bands to watch that happen to live in our own backyard in Los Angeles. Sometimes they have special guest musicians whom are on tour and happen to be in town. Monday’s don’t have to be terrible tune in grab a morning drink and discover new music from around the world and from your own backyard.

  • 12:00pm – 1:00pm Suzanne Ciani – Quadrophonic Broadcast & Interview

    To celebrate Suzanne Ciani‘s LIVE Quadraphonic release, dublab will live broadcast the album from its vinyl test pressing as a part of its annual pledge drive next Monday, June 4th, 2018 at Noon Pacific Time. We will also have Suzanne live on-the-air for a live interview.

    One lucky contributor at this time will receive a signed version of the vinyl+quad decoder package. Check the dublab.com/shop and make sure to donate.

    To experience this broadcast in quadrophonic, listeners can experience the broadcast via dublab.com routed through:
    Involve Audio’s Surround Master decoder or Vintage decoders/receivers such as the Sansui QS Vario Matrix enabled QSD1, QRX 7001, QRX 8001, QRX 9001 or other similar QS/Regular Matrix decoders/receivers.

    Many listeners are likely to listen to the quadraphonic broadcast via Dolby Pro Logic II receivers using “Music Mode.” These have a very large install base and are in virtually every hi-fi receiver made since 2001. The digital release of LIVE Quadraphonic may also be heard in quad via any of these devices.

    The numbered, 227 copy limited edition Quadraphonic vinyl package is also available for direct pre-order and at Ace Hotel locations around the world June 29th.

    Norio Sato is the owner of the incredibly curated Rare Groove record store in Osaka, Japan.

    He also organizes the parties Metro, Norio AZ Music Radio and Positive Affair.  Fellow highly tuned music minds Lovefingers, Magic Touch, Benedek, Leech, Suzanne Kraft, Bezier and more have all played these happenings.

    It is our great pleasure to welcome this great selector back onto the dublab airwaves while he’s cruising through Los Angeles once again. :)

    Speak My Language proposes to explore the sound of words and the music beyond it.

    Every month we will feature a guest to investigate a specific world of sound through a curated playlist.

    Paige Emery is a painter and musician based in Los Angeles. Using DIY recording techniques, she crafts lo-fi pop laden with dreamy atmospheres, noisy dissonance, and offbeat sensibilities. Emery is apt to deviate from traditional song structure, utilizing melodic synth and guitar hooks, raw electronic percussion, and enigmatically effected vocals. A visual artist as well, Emery translates each song she creates into oil paintings and video art to produce an immersive multimedia experience.

    Monday evenings, Friendly Futures Radio floats and fills the dublab skies with Los Angeles musical enthusiasm with particular hip-hop diligence, new age headiness and certainly Silky sentimentality. Cornering and covering all of the communities within the community, future roots on full. All in transcribing details within the history. We love the history!
