  • 12:00pm – 1:00pm Diva 93 – live session

    12901258_811699975641208_8771609135460267205_o
Diva 93 is my solo electronic/experimental project from Minneapolis, temporarily residing in L.A. I would describe it as heavily influenced by Danielle Dax, Cocteau Twins, Chris & Cosey, Kate Bush, and tends to be more on the experimental side, depending on the situation. I use a Novation K Station synthesizer and a jam man looping pedal, and sing with effects on the vocals. I do not currently have my own microphone so I will need to use yours if possible. How long should my set be? Looking forward

  • 1:00pm – 2:00pm Kllo – guest DJ set

    KLLO_SCANBIG3
Kllo is a collaboration between Melbourne cousins Chloe Kaul and Simon Lam. They first emerged in 2014 with a sound beyond their years; fully formed, fusing elements of R&B, UK garage, and 2-step with modern sensibilities and wide-eyed sincerity. Following two well received EP’s — while picking up support from The FADER, Mixmag and Pitchfork along the way — the duo released their debut album Backwater on October 20th via Ghostly International.

  • 4:00pm – 6:00pm Hoseh – Version Sounds

    hoseh_10_24_13

“Version Sounds is my interpretation of radio communication, my version. At its roots, the show credits reggae dub for adding so much to the music we listen to today. From there the branches continue to sprout via a myriad of genres and time spans. Colombian cumbias meet Germanic techno dub meets British twee pop. Stereolab and Sun Ra lounge around as Stars of the Lid jam with Prince Jammy. You never know what to expect but you are guaranteed that the now sounds of 2013 will have a toast with the happening sonics of 1968 and beyond!” love, Hoseh
