Jimmy Howe’s career started VJ in Hong Kong’s nightclubs making his own clips of elektric jazzy visuals and working along side with local Dj and DJ from US (B.Trait) UK (Alexis Taylor) and in local music festival (Clockenflap) and vj in Japan, Lincoln Center Center in New York, as he continues to create his A Visualist Documentary (avisualist.net)
After arriving back to the U.K. from South America backcountry ski adventure, he created NLS Records in London following with two release of artists, Quayola and The Light Surgeons for visual music records but to return to Hong Kong and created NONLINEAR Records (nlsrecords.net) to distributing Vinyl in Hong Kong. Jimmy Howe have been producing for a decade as a producer releasing under the name of Naked Nuras Loves Rave aka NNLR with 2 ambient albums released under his own label NLS Recordings(distributed by Kudos Distributions in London.) He has been seeking producers from around Hong Kong to encourage more people to start making electronic music and beats.

Alejandro Cohen is a musician and composer from Los Angeles, California. He has written and performed music as part of numerous projects and groups, including Languis, Pharaohs and Psychic Powers. He is also a composer of music for TV shows, documentaries and educational materials. Ale works at dublab as part of the full time office team along with frosty and Lavenders.
This program will feature a live performance by Curved Light
Curved Light is the audio/visual duo of Deirdre Smith and Peter Tran. Through the use of modular synthesis, they create expansive, psychedelic fourth worlds that thrive in a live setting. Curved Light is set to release albums via Holodeck Records and Atlantic Rhythms this year.

Cooper Saver – Far Away
Far Away is a monthly party and cassette series in LA revolving around the sounds of cosmic disco, house, italo, left-field techno, and everything in between. For the monthly Dublab broadcast of Far Away, resident DJ and curator Cooper Saver shares music reflecting the many colors of his project while inviting close friends, guests of the party, and collaborators to join in for a mix on occasion.
Cooper Saver is a Los Angeles based DJ and producer. Responsible for the Far Away party and mixtape series, Cooper has brought out underrated and unique talent from overseas alongside regular local guests such as Secret Circuit, Peaking Lights, Suzanne Kraft, Lovefingers, and many others. He got his start as a music journalist in high school before spending most of his time collecting records and DJing in the LA area and abroad, but still continues to write today. Apart from music, Cooper enjoys the sunshine, skateboarding, getting lost in the mountains, and taking naps by the lake in echo park.

Tom Chasteen – Meditation of Sound
This show brings you the word sound of power of the many manifestations of Reggae music from the 1960s up to the heaviest bass vibrations of today and tomorrow.
Tom Chasteen has been a fixture in the LA underground music scene for over two decades. He started the seminal electronic dance music label Exist Dance in 1991 and produced over 50 releases in that genre. Since 2000 he has been running and DJIng at the Dub Club, which has become known worldwide as a respected venue for Reggae music. He has worked with many legendary Jamaican musicians both in the studio and promoting live shows.In 2010 he produced a documentary film about the Dub Club entitled “Return Of The Rub A Dub Style”. In 2013 he released 3 albums on the Stones Throw label, 2 Dub albums and a double LP “Foundation Come Again” featuring 20 veteran performers from the classic 70s era of Reggae. His work has been written up in The Wire, Rolling Stone, LA Times, and many other places.

Heidi Lawden – Magic Roundabout
Magic Roundabout was a French/English children’s TV show that appealed to adults. It was stop motion and every character had a particular personality or state of being, shall we say. In it’s height in the 80’s the show was broadcast daily and was one of the first to break ‘the fourth wall,’ defining fantasy and reality. Heidi’s Magic Roundabout will reflect every aspect of her musical personality as she invites listeners into her world every Wednesday 6pm to 8pm (PST)

Daniel T- Crosseyed and Painless
Daniel T, one half of the production duo Cosmic Kids, is a Los Angeles based producer and DJ. Daniel runs Distant Works Records along side Cooper Saver. He is an active contributor to the labels Young Adults and Chit Chat Records. With Cosmic Kids he has released original productions and remixes for Let’s Play House, Throne of Blood, and DFA Records. Crosseyed and Painless is a biweekly radio show hosted by Daniel T. Every other week, Daniel features guest DJ sets from fellow, local record collectors.
