Awesome Tapes from Africa touches down at Top Tape! + Contact Field Orchestra Cassette Release Party

The dublab tape team have dug up their favorite cassingles, mixtapes, and cassette spooled albums for a night of magnetic music. Come enjoy the sounds of super saturation.
Top Tape is hosted by frosty + matthewdavid and features an all-tape, tag-team dj rotation. VHS visions mixed live on the big screen by Alex Pelly & friends.
For this very special edition, Awesome Tapes from Africa (!!!!wow!!!!!) touches down to showcase the best cassettes ever uncovered from the mother continent.
Plus a dj set by CONTACT FIELD ORCHESTRA, celebrating the new cassette-only release CFO x H+R Mixtape on HIT+RUN. This is the first glimpse into CFO’s arcane world of broken percussion, banjos, flutes, mbiras and field recordings by this group of miners-turned-musicians. Limited-edition tapes, t-shirts and buttons will be for sale.
