Alejandro Cohen is a musician and composer from Los Angeles, California. He has written and performed music as part of numerous projects and groups, including Languis, Pharaohs and Psychic Powers. He is also a composer of music for TV shows, documentaries and educational materials. Ale works at dublab as part of the full time office team along with frosty and Lavenders.

This Program will feature Rico Conning:
Richard Conning, known universally as Rico, started his band The Lines after moving from the North of England to London and meeting Jo Forty. Their first single White Night was self released in 1978 and there followed several singles, an EP and two albums on Red Records. In 1983 they ceased operating as a band before finishing their third album hull down, which has now been pieced together and is being released by Acute Records as a follow-up to the compilations Memory Span and Flood Bank which summarized their previous output.

In 1982 Rico started engineering at the Guerrilla Studio in North London run by producer/ artist William Orbit. Over the next few years his client list included some of the brightest talent of the time including Coil, Swans, Laibach, Wire, Depeche Mode and Erasure, as well french artists Françoise Hardy, Étienne Daho and Arnold Turboust.

In the early 90s he moved to Southern California and started a sound design and music production company with British DJ Michael Cook. Here the client list included Audi, BMW, Nike and many other brands and charities. He continued his music projects with William Orbit and Laurie Mayer, releasing the albums Toward The Unknown Region by Torch Song in 1995 and Black Lining by Laurie Mayer in 2006, as well as contributing to several recordings and productions by Orbit.

More recently he has co-produced the album Souffler N’est Pas Jouer by Arnold Turboust. The release of hull down by The Lines in May 2016 has reunited him again with his old bandmates and they are hoping to play some US dates later in the year.
