Swirling underneath storms of sounds lies the collections found on EMV’s Resolutions cassette. Like the other releases that have found a home at Leaving Records, this collection of DIY sonic adventuring exists in a universe all of its own making, difficult to decipher but so delicious to interpret. “Look Sharp” explores this balancing act with grace as it takes its very much Los Angeles roots and pulls them into a place much further and more mystifying.
