Only the good Alfred Darlington, better known as dublab’s own dandy Daedelus, could successfully turn a springtime anthem of breezy bossanova into the crux of a monumental, albeit brief, historical concept album rooted in 19th century China’s epic, unfortunate, and tragically imaginative Boxer Rebellion. The forward-thinking folks at Brainfeeder dare to release said album, which shall be titled “Righteous Fists of Harmony” on the 23rd day of March, two thousand and ten.
