Anika, a modern day Nico with post-punk blood flowing through cold veins is here with a new video directed by renowned German film force Uli M Schueppel. The song, a Kinks cover, comes from the Anika EP on Stones Throw which also features covers of The Crystals, Chromatics and Shocking Blue along with dubs of Anika originals. The video is a wonderful companion to the melancholic musical web that is so wonderfully spun by this new voice with an old soul.
